| Providers, We thank you
for everything you do... The unseen things, the wordless deeds you so faithfully
do. The tears you wipe, the cuts you heal with just one kiss, and the joy
you bring to each little one. You are so important to us! You are
priceless, and we thank you for what you do! Thank you for being a
childcare provider!

This evening of events started seemed
to start with tears, and ended in tears! This close knit group of Ladies
celebrated their evening together with lots of wonderful stories! The
evening opened up with the ECDCA's President, Michelle Rhoads
introducing each provider, and announcing how long they had provided
care! They represented hundreds of years worth of service! Carla
Freel was recognized by Mayor Miller as an outstanding provider!
She has provided care for 0ver 14 years! Congratulations Carla!
Flowers, and awards were handed out, as Mayor Miller spoke to the
providers. He told the providers how his life was affected by his
mother and being so close to the children she taught in school.
The mayor was followed by State Representative Tim Neese! He too
thanked providers, and said that the "Fingerprints of Family Childcare
Providers" were all over Legislation this year! The evening was wrapped
up with the Indiana Childcare Association giving a presentation!
What a wonderful evening of
Fellowship! Thank You ECDCA for your dedication and hard work!

Kosciusko County Providers

Kosciusko County had a record
breaking year this year! We were so pleased when all but 10
providers in Kosciusko county were able to attend our Provider
Appreciation Dinner! The evening began with State Representative
Dave Wolkins. He gave a wonderful update from our
statehouse, and encouraged the providers to keep their voices loud and
strong! During dinner we heard from the Vice President of
the ICA, Ann Stefaniak, and from our voucher intake Agent, Savanah
Ryan. A letter from the Mayor was read, and certificates handed
out from him! It was truly a wonderful evening of fellowship!
