Steps to Becoming a Licensed Home Childcare Provider!
1.) Call your local office of the Division of Family Resources, (DFR) for an application.
2.) Send the application and paperwork to the Licensing Specialist.
3.) Attend orientation training.
4.) Pass home inspection.
5.) Recommendation for license sent to local DFR office for signature.
6.) Signed recommendation to be sent to state office for approval.
7.) License sent to new licensee.
