Look how far we have come!
This year has been a
great year for the children, and Licensed Home Childcare Providers here
in the state of Indiana! With our new administration, and our
amazing legislators, we have moved mountains! We were able to see
legislation passed this year that will encourage childcare providers to
become licensed, and provide valuable education to all providers! With
SB376, we were able to see a committee on Childcare established.

here! We were also able to see SB420 pass through legislation.
This bill takes our addresses off the internet to make our homes safer,
corrects, minimum standards supervision, and also requires safe sleeping
practice (or SIDS) training for every provider. This year has also
brought a new FSSA administration, and of course our new governor!
We have high hopes of working together to make childcare providers in
Indiana proud to hold a license, and proud to provide quality childcare!
